The Gala Concert was a momentous celebration of 50 Years of music-making at BSAK and involved almost 300 students and staff from both Primary and Secondary Schools, performing alongside each other in this showcase event.
The music was selected for a number of reasons; celebrating BSAK as a British school; celebrating music written 50 years ago; celebrating Sheikh Zayed’s Year of Tolerance and simply celebrating some of the finest music ever composed!
The concert took place in the magnificent venue of New York University, Red Theatre and was an exceptional display of talent with a fabulous programme of upbeat energetic pop, majestic classical pieces and the tender melodies and unexpected quirky rhythms of The Peacemakers by Karl Jenkins. A wondrous evening of celebration.
