The ‘BSAK Scholars Programme’ is our way of putting in place provision to support our most talented students. In many schools this is referred to as the ‘gifted and talented programme’ or ‘most able students provision’ and most schools have a similar programme.

We are currently only running a Music Scholars Programme which is available to existing BSAK students.

In many respects our ‘BSAK Scholars Programme’ is an augmentation of the exceptional provision we provide for our music students and runs alongside the music opportunities that are open to all.

It should not be seen as an ‘add-on’, nor should it be viewed as ‘elitist’. It is simply a way of making sure that we offer opportunities to both stretch and challenge our most able musicians so that they have the opportunity to exceed their expectations and achieve as highly as they can whilst attending the school.
