We are delighted to announce that 2018 is another outstanding year for A Level results at BSAK, with 21 students achieving (at least) 3 A*- A grades and 53 achieving 3 A*- B grades or better. This year also sees our first set of BTEC results where 67% achieved Distinction*/Distinction grades, the equivalent of A*- A at A Level.
Headmaster Mark Leppard MBE commented, ‘this is yet another set of exceptional results from our Year 13 students who have worked tirelessly throughout the Sixth Form. Congratulations to our students, our teaching staff and parent body, who have supported them through their educational journey.’
Head of Secondary Teresa Woulfe added. ‘As Abu Dhabi’s most established British curriculum school, our A Level cohort of 115 students is the largest in the Emirate. We publish results which reflect both whole school achievement and that of our top 50 highest achieving candidates, to enable parents and students to make accurate comparisons with other schools. As a not-for-profit, academically non-selective school we have an inclusive ethos and support a wide range of students to achieve their goals. Our whole school results are comparable to the best schools in the UK and around the world and we are very proud that our top 50 results consistently compare favourably with highly selective schools in the UK and internationally.’
