ADIPEC Youngsters program is a new initiative set up as an outreach program to involve schools and students in learning about the oil and gas sector in the UAE. BSAK Sixth Form students were fortunate to visit BakerHughes; a leading energy technology company, observing life as an engineer involved in oil and gas exploration, drilling and collection. Students learnt what and how Baker Hughes and the rest of the industry are working towards in relation to cleaner and more carbon neutral energy collection.This real life learning experience complements the theory and knowledge that 26 of our students have gained as members of the BSAK Engineering Club, a specialised academic club. We are confident the trip has stimulated and inspired students considering their future university paths.
