The Primary Sports awards celebrated the achievements of over 250 students who took part in competitive sports over the 2018-19 academic year. BSAK has enjoyed incredible success winning leagues, galas and competitions across Football, Rugby, Swimming, Cricket and Swim/Run not only in Abu Dhabi, but as far afield as Bahrain, where BSAK competed fiercely to win the U11 Football BSME games.

Every child who participated in a team received a certificate to recognise their contribution to their teams. Whilst the awards ceremony recognises individual students, Mr Coombs, Director of Sport was keen to point out that success came through teamwork and endeavour, highlighting the importance of playing with the right spirit and attitude, win, lose or draw.

Player of the Year trophies were awarded to students who excelled across the season, produced the most consistent performances and impacted positively on others.

Best Attitude awards were given to the player who showed dedication and commitment to their team, going above and beyond just being a member of the team.

It was an incredible evening of celebration bringing together children, parents, teachers and coaches as part of the unique and exceptional BSAK community.
