On 18th May the Arabic department held a workshop led by Mr Hamza Chraibi, the founder of Arab Excellence and Ambassador for the Youth Olympics. Year 9 students explored the lives of Arab role models and how to draw inspiration from their example. Students then drew on this to reflect on their own vision in life and to start planning their dream careers. They then created presentations in which they explored their long term goals. At the end of the workshopstudents presented their work in groups. The guest speaker alongside the Arabic staff who attended the workshop were impressed with the confidence and the team working skills that the students displayed.
